Why does my job description look shortened on the job site?
If you notice that your job ad looks shortened or cut off on the job board you've posted it on, it's likely that the job board has a character limit.
Some job sites have strict character or word limits and will not publish job ads if they go over these limits. As a result, JobTarget will trim your job description for you to fit the site-specific character or word limit, ending at the last full sentence. We will append a statement to the end of your ad with your apply URL so that job seekers can view your full job description if they'd like.
