Statuses in the Job Importer App

Within the Job Importer app, you will find your importer's Last Run date and Run Status.

If you have more than one importer built into your JobTarget account, they will be listed separately with the Source (the job feed name or website URL that we are importing your jobs from) of the importers listed above each one.

Run Status

The Run Statuses below indicate whether or not the importer's most recent run was successful.

  • Complete: The importer has successfully completed its run.
  • Running: The importer is still in the process of running. When an importer is in the Running status, do not attempt to re-run the importer - Doing so will cause delays.
  • Held: The importer did not run due to a dramatic change in the job volume since its last run, causing a variance alert that the JobTarget team will review.
  • Failed: The importer could not complete its run due to an error, such as a timeout in the career page, a change in the source URL, or a captcha security check.
  • Incomplete: The importer got stuck during the process of running.

Job Import status

The Job Import status indicates what action the importer performed on each requisition ID.

You can view the Job Import status of a specific requisition by clicking the "View Importer" button within the Job Importer app and then clicking the blue "Details" button for a specific date. This page will show the exact requisitions that the importer found upon scraping the Source.

The "Details" column on the far right-hand side will display the Job Import status for the requisition.

The statuses you may see are as follows

  • New: The job was created on this date.
  • Omit: The job was omitted/skipped based on the Importer's skip rules or division mapping rules.
  • Edited: The job was updated/edited within the Source; therefore, it was updated in the JobTarget platform.
    • For a job to be edited in JobTarget, the "Update Active Jobs" setting must be enabled for your Importer within your JobTarget account. Your Relationship Manager can change this setting for you upon request.
  • Unchanged: No changes to the job were made.
  • Locked: The job was updated/edited within the Source, but the "Update Active Jobs" setting is NOT enabled for your Importer within your JobTarget account. Therefore, the job was not updated in the JobTarget platform.
    • Upon request, your relationship manager can change the "Update Active Jobs" setting for your Importer on our back end.
  • Stopped: The job is no longer active within the Source, & the Importer has stopped any active posting IDs in JobTarget. The job should now be expired from any active job boards it was posted to through JobTarget.
    • The Stopped status is only used when your Importer's "Delete Active Jobs" setting is enabled on our back end. Your Relationship Manager can change this setting for you upon request.
  • Deactivated: The job is no longer active within the Source, and the Importer has removed the unposted job in JobTarget. Therefore, the job should no longer be visible within the Job Manager.
    • To remove an unposted job from the JobTarget platform, the Importer's "Delete Unposted Jobs" setting must be enabled on our back end. Your Relationship Manager can change this setting for you upon request.
  • Not Removed: The job is no longer active within the Source, and the Importer did not expire any active job posting IDs for it in JobTarget.
    • This means your Importer's "Delete Active Jobs" setting is disabled on our back end. Your Relationship Manager can change this setting for you upon request.
  • Not Deactivated: The job is no longer active within the Source, and the Importer did NOT remove the unposted requisition in JobTarget.
    • This means your Importer's "Delete Unposted Jobs" setting is disabled on our back end. Your Relationship Manager can change this setting for you upon request.
