This webinar was recorded on 02/05/2025
On January 21, 2025, President Trump signed the Executive Order “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity.” This order rescinds Executive Order 11246, which mandated that federal contractors and subcontractors develop affirmative action plans to ensure nondiscrimination in employment based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Join the JobTarget Compliance Team and our special guest, Matthew Camardella, Principal, and co-leader of the Affirmative Action, OFCCP and Government Contract Compliance practice group of Jackson Lewis P.C. for an in-depth discussion on the implications of this new Executive Order.
In this session you will:
- Hear about the evolving role of the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)
- Get clarification on the current obligations for federal contractors
- Gain insight into what is now required, permissible, and prohibited under the updated regulatory framework.
