JobTarget Navigator User Guide

Learn how to use JobTarget's browser extension.

Simplify your recruiting by using the JobTarget Recruiter Browser Extension. As you work in your Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or as you browse the Internet, JobTarget functionality becomes situationally available to you – making it easier for you to do your job.

Here are few of the things you can do with JobTarget Recruiter Extension:

• Access JobTarget tools and reporting without leaving your workflow
• Easily post your jobs to thousands of sites (and get the best prices!)
• Identify top candidates
• Write job descriptions using AI

Install the browser extension

JobTarget Navigator is available with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. 

1. Access the browser extension by adding and installing it in your browser here.
2. You’ll be asked to log-in to your JobTarget account using your employer log-in information.
3. Pin the extension for easy access. 

Find New Job Sites with Marketplace

As you're browsing the internet, the browser extension will let you know if you can advertise your job on the site you're on. 

You will receive a notification in the top right corner of your browser, letting you know that you can start advertising your job on this site using JobTarget Marketplace. The notification will also tell you how much it will cost.

Just click “Post Job” to start advertising your role! 

Discover New Candidates with Sourcer

As you browse LinkedIn, we'll notify you whenever you come across a candidate’s online profile that matches a profile in our Sourcer database. This will allow you to easily contact them regarding new opportunities and open roles.

Once you’ve come across a candidate’s profile, you will receive a notification in the top right corner of your browser letting you know that we have matched this profile with one in our Sourcer database.

To reach out to this candidate, click the “View Profile” button! 

Check the Status of Your Jobs with Job Manager

Use JobTarget Navigator to check the status of your roles, candidates that have applied, download resumes, and more – right in your browser.

To start, find your job within your HR software. You’ll receive a notification in the top right corner letting you know that we have found this role in your JobTarget account.

You’ll see at a glance the job sites you’ve posted it to, performance/data reporting, candidates that have applied, and more!

Just click “View Campaign” or “Job Manager” for more information!

Generate job descriptions using AI with Job Description Builder

Harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to build job descriptions as you’re creating a job in your HR software.

To start, create a new job post in your HR software and enter the job title you want to create the description for.

You will receive a notification in the top right corner letting you know that Job Description Builder can help you write the description, with job requirements and responsibilities.

Just click “Create”!

What JobTarget Navigator functionality is available to me?

All JobTarget customers can download and use the browser extension while browsing the internet. However, customers of certain ATS's will have access to additional functionality directly in their system.
