What is a Spend Target?

A spend target is a soft spending cap that can be placed on a job in your Programmatic+ campaign. It tells the system to pause the job if/when the spend target is met or exceeded.

  • The minimum spend target is $100.
  • When the spend target is hit, the job will stay paused until a new cycle starts or the spend target is increased.
  • Spend Targets are not a firm budget per job.

    • Programmatic budget spends on a cost-per-click basis. Once a job is paused, it can take up to 48 hours for that job to be pulled from all job sites. Additional spend may occur during that period.

  • Entry-level jobs, remote/hybrid roles, jobs with Easy Apply, Jobs in popular cities, and jobs with low spend targets are all more likely to see these targets exceeded.
  • Campaign-Level spend targets can be set by your Relationship Manager if you would like a default spend target applied to all jobs each cycle.
