Understanding Tracking Types: How JobTarget Helps You Measure Success

Understand your ROI and how to get the metrics.

Understanding where your candidates come from allows for better advertising decisions. JobTarget offers valuable insights to help you assess your ROI effectively, and we will explore the details of tracking candidates sourced through JobTarget. Now, let's dive in!

How JobTarget Tracks Your Candidates

There are a few ways that applications can be tracked. The important thing to understand is that there is little or no work you need to do.

  • If you utilize one of our partnered ATS's, it is likely that tracking is set up automatically. Meaning, that when you advertise a job through our services, you will see that JobTarget is your source in your ATS applicant reporting (aka source reporting.)
    • Each ATS displays the source of hire differently. While JobTarget doesn’t have detailed information on every ATS, we can help customers navigate them if needed.
  • If you create a job opening through JobTarget or utilize our RecruitSite product, all of your candidates will be available in the Candidate Manager.
  • If you utilize an ATS that does not partner with JobTarget, we have an HTML pixel that is unique to your company that you may add to your application process. This allows you to see how many applications came from JobTarget in our Reports App.

Variability & Consistency

  • Metrics on total applicants may vary from what you see in your reporting versus ours.

    • Check if there are auto-reject questions enabled.

    • Some ATSs allow duplicate applications, while others don’t. Even if your ATS doesn’t track duplicates, JobTarget will still track both applications.
