Can I edit my job after it's been advertised?

Yes, after your job advertisement has been posted edits can easily be made.

The following scenarios outline how you can update your posting based on your method of job creation:

  • If you use JobTarget through one of our partnered Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS/HRIS)...
    • Edit the job within your ATS/HRIS directly, then log into JobTarget via the integration to trigger the updates.
  • If you have an actively running importer...
    • Edit the job within your ATS/HRIS directly and the change will be brought over the next time your importer runs- within 24 hours.
  • If you create your jobs directly within the JobTarget Job Manager...
    • Locate the job within Job Manager, click edit posting, and save the changes.

NOTE: Avoid stopping an active posting in order to make edits. Once a posting is stopped we cannot restart it, and another order will need to be placed.
