Introduction to Marketplace
JobTarget Marketplace allows you to manage where you post your job ads and helps you reach the most talented candidates on multiple job sites simultaneously. With over 25,000 job sites to choose from, we have the job boards you need, no matter your industry, location, or hiring needs. We integrate with over 60 HR software systems so you can automatically import, distribute jobs, and review candidates in one convenient place.
In Marketplace, you can:
- Post a Job
- Find Job Sites
- Add a Job Site to “My Favorites”
- Purchase Programmatic Singles
Accessing Marketplace
If accessing JobTarget directly...
- Log-in to your account.
- Click “Marketplace” in the navigation bar at the top of the page or on the main dashboard.
If you are accessing JobTarget through your ATS or HRIS...
Marketplace will appear when you open the JobTarget window. If you need to navigate back to Marketplace at any point, you can click the menu in the top right corner and click on the Marketplace app icon under “My Apps”.
Posting a job
If you’re accessing Marketplace through your ATS or HRIS, you will be brought directly to Marketplace to start choosing job sites to post your job to. Alternatively, if you’re accessing Marketplace through JobTarget directly, you’ll have to select a job in Job Manager first using the steps below.
- Access Job Manager through the navigation bar at the top of your screen or through the main dashboard.
If you don’t select a job through Job Manager, you will receive the message shown below when trying to access Marketplace.
If the job you are trying to post does not exist in Job Manager yet, you’ll have to create a new job by clicking “Post New Job” under the “Jobs” dropdown on the navigation bar. Check out the Job Manager User Guide to learn more about adding a new job.
- Once the job that you want to advertise has been created in Job Manager, click the “Advertise Job” button. This will bring you to Marketplace to start choosing job sites to post this job to.
- Within Marketplace, you’ll be able to browse, search, and add multiple job sites to your cart to post your job to. The image below is an example of what your options in the Marketplace may look like. Once you’ve added your desired job sites to your cart and are ready to check out, click the shopping cart icon at the top or bottom of your screen.
- A cart summary window will appear with the sites that you’ve chosen, as well as information regarding pricing. You’ll have the choice to add more sites or continue with your purchases. You can also add PO/IO for the entire order or for a single order item. Please note: PO/IO can be a required field based on internal admins settings. Click “Next Step” to provide additional job information that is necessary to advertise your job.
- Each job site may have different information that is required, so it is important to pay attention to any required fields. Click “Next Step – Review Order” to finalize your purchases.
- You will be brought to the checkout where you will review your order summary and provide your payment option. When you are ready to post your jobs and process payment, click “Submit Order”.
Please Note: Depending on your payment settings you may or may not have "Pay by invoice" as an option. - If the order is successful and payment has been made, you will receive an order confirmation with an order ID number. You can download a receipt, go to the Orders app, or return to the main JobTarget dashboard.
Finding Job Sites
To search for a specific job site,- Locate the search bar within Marketplace.
- Type the name of the job site that you are searching for, and the site should populate below with pricing information.
- If it does not appear, feel free to reach out to support@jobtarget.com to request the job site to be added to Marketplace.
To discover a new job site, locate the search bar within Marketplace. You can think of the search function like a search engine for job sites. For example, when there is a topic or keyword you would like to explore on the internet, you type your topic or keyword, and the related sites will show below. You could search for a job site by typing the following:
• Position Title
• Job Location
• Job Sector or Industry
• Job Site Type

Add a Job Site to My Favorites
The “My Favorites” section in Marketplace allows you to store all your preferred job sites for easy access to post later. To add a job site to your favorites,
- Locate the job site within Marketplace that you want to store in your favorites.
- Click “Info/Options”.
- Select "Add to favorites".
- The job site should now be stored under “My Favorites” for easy access. To unfavorite a job site, follow the same steps and click “Remove from Favorites”.
Purchasing Programmatic Singles
Programmatic advertising is a fully automated solution used for real time buying and selling of online advertising. Algorithms evaluate an ad campaign’s performance and determine where they will be the most effective, based on actual job seeker behaviors and other data collection.

Programmatic job advertising makes it more efficient and cost effective for you to make sure your job ads get posted where the right candidates will see them. JobTarget’s Programmatic network will post your job across 70+ leading and niche job sites.
JobTarget offers two Programmatic options: Singles and Campaigns. Programmatic Singles are available for you to buy in Marketplace. Programmatic Singles will be a good fit for you if you hire sporadically and at a low volume where you wouldn’t have regular monthly hiring needs. If you regularly hire for more than one position per month, a Campaign is going to be much more efficient for you. Reach out to our Sales team or your Relationship Manager for more information about a Campaign.

To purchase a Programmatic Single In Marketplace,
- Find the “Programmatic” box located at the top of your screen in Marketplace.
- From here, you can choose one of three budget tiers based on your needs. When choosing a budget, consider:
- How quickly does the role need to be filled? A higher budget will get you quicker results.
- The number of openings for the position you need to fill. A higher budget will get you a bigger candidate pool to fill more openings.
- The experience level of the ideal candidate. If your role requires a higher level of experience or a specific qualification, you’ll need a higher budget.
- The market demand for the position. Choose a higher budget if the position is in high demand to ensure candidates are seeing your ad over competitors.
3. When you've chosen your desired budget, click "Add to Cart".
